Monaco Yacht Show GreenTheMonaco Yacht Show will be zero-emission by 2050. In other words, a 100% green event.

This is the ambitious goal that the Monaco show aims to achieve in the long term but which, of course, requires a strong commitment from the entire industry in order for it to be achieved.

And it is for this purpose that the Monaco Yacht Show hosted a webinar exclusively for exhibitors and show suppliers to discuss its Carbon Neutrality Transition Plan, with particular focus on its ongoing efforts to minimize its environmental impact.

Promoted in collaboration with the auditing agency Nadeis which supports the show in its sustainability initiatives, this transition plan consists of three phases, which aim, of course, to actively involve exhibitors and suppliers.

The ambitious goal is to reduce CO2 emissions by 60 percent by 2025 compared to 2022, aligning with the Principality of Monaco’s low-carbon trajectory to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050,with an intermediate step planned for 2030, the year in which a net reduction of up to 55 percent of emissions is targeted.

Monaco Yacht Show GreenHow to make such an important and international event completely green? First of all by realizing its environmental impact. And so, right during the webinar, the methodology used to calculate the event’s carbon footprint was presented, with a focus on phase 1 and 2022 results. Data collection at last year’s MYS was conducted from various stakeholders, including visitors, exhibitors, service providers, and yacht captains.

A well-delineated vision of the future focused on upcoming measures and initiatives for further GHG emission reductions right away through three scope categories.

Monaco Yacht Show GreenScope 1 represents direct emissions that MYS owns or controls, including air conditioning refrigerants. The largest emission in this scope came from the refrigerants used in air conditioning machines, amounting to 48.5 tons.

Scope 2 includes indirect emissions from electricity and water consumption. The emissions in this scope were relatively low, with minimal impact from water (0.1 tons of emissions) and electricity (2.4 tons) usage.

Scope 3 covers other indirect emissions from activities not owned or controlled by MYS, such as exhibitors, suppliers, waste, and transportation. The emissions in this scope were significant, with notable contributions from exhibitors, visitors, waste, and service providers.

Employees contribute 1 ton, which is equivalent to 190 round trips from Paris to Bordeaux by train. Visitors generate 6,608 tons, equivalent to 6,600 round trips from Paris to New York by air. Waste amounts to 5 tons, equivalent to 44,000 plastic cups. Service providers contribute 39 tons, equivalent to 741 years of power consumption of a TV. Exhibitors generate 77 tons, equivalent to driving 620,000 kilometres in a diesel car.

These results underscore the need for comprehensive efforts to reduce emissions in all scopes, promoting sustainable practices and environmental responsibility throughout the Monaco Yacht Show. Not surprisingly, the 2022 edition featured a Sustainability Hub aiming to raise awareness and promote sustainable practices among exhibitors and visitors.

A joint effort to achieve a common goal that, however, naturally brings with it obvious advantages, not only environmental but also economic, just think of the management of the carbon footprint of the events: the future of boating has taken this course, and by now trying to oppose it would make no sense, and in Monaco they are fully aware of this.

Appointment, then, from September 27 to 30 for what we can effectively define as the most Green edition of the Monaco Yacht Show ever, but only so far, because now that the goals are set the goal is only one: to achieve them, whatever the cost.

After projects for Armani and recent deliveries for Lamborghini The Italian Sea Group is increasingly becoming the global player of reference in the large yacht segment.

Cannes Yachting Festival and The International Yachting Media: together again to consolidate a successful partnership

A partnership that is repeated year after year and which, once again, is sealed with a worldwide agreement. Once again, in fact, Cannes Yachting Festival chooses The International Yachting Media to give maximum international coverage to the novelties and events that make this boat show unique and inimitable.

Like every year, the journalists and photographers of The International Yachting Media, with their usual passion and hard work, will report on the long days of the show through the pages of the group’s 6 magazines, which, in real time, will be spread all over the world thanks to the 15 international editions published in English, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Arabic and German.

CANNES YACHTING FESTIVAL 2023Sea trials, articles, and news on the many premières present will therefore be published before, during and after the Cannes Yachting Festival,to give voice to what is effectively the most important event in Europe and which, from September 12- 17, will be the first to kick off the 2023/2024 “boating season”.

The event will once again be the industry’s hub of innovation. With more than 650 boats on the water and many more ashore, it will be a unique showcase for the latest trends and premieres in the boating world. Exhibitors include the major names in the boating industry, ready to present their latest innovations, taking advantage of this unique showcase.

The partnership between Europe’s most international and important boat show and the world’s leading digital information provider is first and foremost a strategic agreement – says Luca D’Ambrosio, CEO of the publishing group – Almost allof the year’s novelties, certainly the most important ones, are presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival, and the agreement with The International Yachting Media will allow owners from all over the world to be informed about them through our 15 international editions“.

The International Yachting Media, for its part, is coming off a successful three-year period where, immediately after the acquisitions of YachtingNews and YachtDigest, it has implemented a series of further investments in innovation, research and development that have led it to launch practically a new product every three months. In the last 12 months alone, in chronological order, we can mention:

  • Yachting Metaverse: the only working metaverse in yachting, an unparalleled immersive experience;
  • The restyling and updating of the Boating News App which, available for free on Apple Store and Google Play Store, now contains all 15 of the group’s international editions and, of course, the famous online pilot book, the most widely read in Europe;
  • The launch of the French edition of Yacht Digest , the innovative, browsable digital magazine, the only one ad-free in the world;
  • The launch of the German edition of Yachting News ;
  • The launch of the Arabic edition of SuperYachts;
  • The recently completed migration and restyling of TuttoBarche, TousLesBateaux and TodosLosBarcos.

The partnership between The International Yachting Media and the Cannes Yachting Festival thus comes at the climax of a successful and innovative year. A long series of new information channels will help to enhance the wonders of this magnificent show and the innovations that will be presented in this 2023 edition.

” The Cannes Yachting Festival is a prestigious stage, where elegance is the main thread running through- emphasizes Giorgio Bruno, Account Manager for the publishing groupThis is the ideal location for all the industry players, who meet here every year to present their new models in a truly unique and exclusive setting”.

All that remains now is to eagerly await the start of this renewed collaboration, which promises to offer an extraordinary experience to all yachting enthusiasts, visitors to the Cannes Yachting Festival and all those who, unable to attend, will choose The International Yachting Media to fully immerse themselves in the magic of this event.

Considered as the largest annual gathering of superyachts in the world, the 32nd Monaco Yacht Show will be held in the wonderful setting of the French Riviera from September 27th to 30th, 2023.

An unmissable event for superyacht enthusiasts who can therefore be able to enjoy a unique immersive experience in the multi-faceted yachting world.

In addition to the exhibition of the impressive vessels, in fact, the Monaco Yacht Show has a variety of initiatives, promoted precisely thanks to this major boat show. The most famous, and now coming to the close of its first cycle this year, is “Seducation”, a three-year development programme designed in collaboration with the industry and based on four essential pillars: environmental innovation, design, understanding of yachting, and visitor experience.

With a view to continuous improvement for the yachting market, and to provide a better experience for visitors, the Monaco Yacht Show organizers are committed each year to transforming the boat show into a true yachting “ecosystem.” The proposed initiatives are many, but the focus will be on innovation and education to make visitors more aware of the latest yachting trends and the (necessary) respect for our seas.

32nd Monaco Yacht Show HUB

This year, MYS will consolidate its first “Seducation” cycle by unveiling an impressive fleet of 120 superyachts and megayachts available on the market, including the highly anticipated 2023 launches. The ambitious objective of this programme is to strengthen the MYS’s position as the international reference show for the luxury yachting industry, while offering an unforgettable experience to yacht and lifestyle enthusiasts.

Visitors will have the chance to discover the latest trends in yachting. The Dockside Area and Adventure Area, in particular, will offer a complete immersion into yachting and related activities.

Passionate enthusiasts will be able to attend daytime conferences and meet the best experts and most qualified professionals to help them realize their yacht project. The show will also ensure the participation of driving force companies to present innovative and sustainable solutions in design and sustainability, highlighting eco-responsible technologies while offering an inspiring vision for yacht enthusiasts.

show

Since 2021, the MYS has themed this important new aspect of yachting sustainability, notably with the Yacht Design & Innovation Hub, the Sustainability Hub, the Adventure Area, and the Dockside Area, which allow privileged access to the show’s docks for visitors interested in a yacht project.

The 32nd Monaco Yacht Show strives to promote a unique experience for visitors, while enhancing the positive reputation and development of the yachting industry and sharing the important innovations that this industry has incorporated, responding intelligently and responsively to the pressing eco-sustainable needs for the well-being of our seas and our society.

The secret is out! The Ocean Alexander 37 Legend motor yacht thinks she’s a mega yacht. Given her part classic, part cosmopolitan composition, and boundless 118 feet dimension making her the overall OA portfolio leader, why wouldn’t she?

Her story starts in 2021 when the family-run Taiwanese ship builder brought a triad of new models including the 30R and 35R to the Fort Lauderdale Bahia Mar dock on US shores for the legendary late-October yacht show. Smitten by success, two years into the future, today the 37L continues to lead her own path destined for the horizon.

For hull No. 3, that path included the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show where the 37L won the hearts of the yachting community during the week of Valentine’s Day. Fortunately, International Yachting Media was on hand for the fanfare and between chatting with vice president of marketing Sally Doleski and personally touring the flagship – her classic low-profile exterior Carolina flare and current-day cosmopolitan air became quite clear.8

Marshall Magic – as I call it – is what lures you on board the Ocean Alexander. Many may not know that the 37L is in reality, a 36L with a revitalized twist (and extended swim platform augmenting the length) thanks to the penning of British yacht designer Evan K. Marshall.

A main talking point was putting safety above all else, meaning modifications went deeper than opulent visuals and refined creature comforts. The strategic re-make of the master suite relocating the bathroom to the main deck is most important. Moving the head to the same level just aft of the snoozing area, as opposed to its former position forward on the lower deck, means middle-of-the-night risers must no longer take a few sleepy steps in the darkness.

The slanted angular windows of days and designs gone by were also replaced with heavenly U-shaped window glazing; to which owners are gifted a pleasurable 270-degree panoramic view. Natural light marries with the oceanic sightlines in a manner that not only enhances the voluminous essence, but infuses an enamoring aura to the entire area. (Do note, the original split-style plan remains an option).3

From the sleeping quarters we make our way to the eating quarters to glance over the new portside galley door. And while this nicety might not draw the same applause as the owner’s suite revamp, the addition does denote an awful lot to the dedicated crew. The seamlessly integrated second entrance provides the ability to bypass the salon on route to the foredeck and aft deck for staff members, the chef, or any hungry souls fancying an easy in and out to grab a quick bite. Furthermore, it is also advantageous for restocking duties allowing for provisions to be carried onto the vessel through the covered passageway.

Just beyond the galley, the interior epiphany continues reshaping the motoryacht into a floating home. Here we admire the cosmopolitan Poltrona Frau collection of furnishings and its interplay with the hallmark design curves that speak to the Legend line. The perfect example of Ocean Alexander staying true to nautical tradition is visualized through the timeless woods and interior decor finishes available in Novus Dusk (as seen on display at the Miami show) or the lighter toned Novus Mist.Ocean Alexander 37L

And speaking of mist, you might just feel a little in the air at the downstairs beach club, where our 37L story ends. Arguably one of the coolest outdoor areas to aft, the al-fresco fun spot transports guests to the edge of the water but not quite into the seas, should they not want to wet their Prada polos or Calvin Klein cover-ups.

Here, quality time can be shared with family and friends of all ages. While the little kids do flips off the swim platform, the “big kids” can kick back inside the air-conditioned cabana enjoying: a Spotify chill-out playlist, a pitcher of sangria, and the smiles of their loved ones “living the life” at sea. This is after all, what boating is all about… legendary days forging memories on the water, and no yacht can make this lifestyle more of a reality than being aboard the Ocean Alexander 37 Legend!

A forum aimed at elevating human potential and creating new boating perceptions, embracing an holistic style for healthier yachting.

The second edition of the sold-out Experiential Yachting Forum 2023 was held on March 2- 3 in Dubai during the international boat show.

More than 130 participants, including speakers, partners, and visionaries gathered to discuss inspiring topics, looking at yachting from a different perspective: one that sees the multifunctional yacht as the solution of the future, integrating different sectors (healthcare, fashion, real estate, etc…) to the boating one, to have a healthier and more sustainable human experience of being on a boat.

multifunctional forumHow is this achieved? Experiential Yachting 2023 has introduced a new concept: multifunctional Superyachts, i.e., luxury yachts that are true extensions of businesses or institutions. The goal of this new view is to create innovative connections and bring a new type of service to the public. This is also a new way to strengthen established brands by offering a wide range of features and multi-purpose facilities and in this way breaking the industry patterns used to date.

During the Forum, the new concept of Holistic Yachting was also presented, which is an approach that combines elements of longevity, preventive health care, eco-responsible technologies, innovation, and social interactions to boat living. To make this new vision of yachting come to fruition, a collaboration was presented between Experiential Yachting and AERA.HealthExperiential Yachting and AERA.Health, which together, aim to provide the industry with essential solutions, where the available projects and packages will serve to concretely upgrade or transform the yacht with appropriate equipment and services for a healthier lifestyle on board..

Experiential Yachting 2023 forum “Pertanto, dobbiamo ripensare e implementare nuovi modelli di business e una nuova filosofia di yachting”. says Maria Alekseenko Magan, founder of Experiential Yachting.“Whether you are interested in longevity and preventive healthcare, remote education for your children, or simply want to engage your target through commercial operations at sea, using a yacht goes far beyond the usual vacation, relaxation or exploration. Today, together with visionaries from different sectors, Experiential Yachting redefines yachting by changing the function of the yacht. The common goal,” she concludes, “is nothing less than to elevate human potential and open a new chapter and a new world at sea.”

Another moment that particularly impressed spectators at Experiential Yachting 2023 was the presentation of the results of the neuroscientific experiment of “Meditation on a Jet Ski.” The experiment, carried out last year, involves Maria Alekseenko Magan’s Experiential Yachting in collaboration with Claudia Batt’s Monaco Capital of Advanced Yachting, and found how the rolling of sea waves affects brainwaves during meditation aboard a small jet ski at sea compared to the same meditation technique performed on land. forum experiment

With 23 volunteers and 3 pilot participants, Julian Amengual Researcher in Neuroscience and Data Scientist and Patrick Cosson, Researcher in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience analyzed the data one year after the start of the experiment. “In conclusion – Julian Amengual explains – there was clear evidence of the higher behavioral benefits and enhancement of physiological correlates of well-being after performing meditation at the sea compared to meditation performed on land. “We truly believe that these results open a novel venue to conceive holistic experiences in yachting from which users could highly benefit” .

The forum’s innovative format has also been very successful in its second edition, and it is opening up the yachting world, and the industry’s outlook in general, to new perspectives and different points of view that had not been considered until now, as Maria Alekseenko Magan, founder of Experiential Yachting, also says:

“This forum was created with a mission to elevate human potential through yachting and to change the perception of yachting by identifying a new niche for Multifunctional Superyachts and introducing the Holistic yachting approach for healthier yachting operations and lifestyle”.

Dubai boat show 1The Dubai International Boat Show 2023 has come to an end. Now it is time to take stock, certainly positively, of what has become one of the most important international events in the yachting world

Thousands of enthusiasts from all over the world passed through the port of Dubai, looking forward to enjoying the more than 200 boats on display and the show that saw as many as 44 launches of new proposals and the latest in design and technology.

In addition to boats many other activities entertained visitors, including diving demonstrations, water sports shows, seminars and workshops, live music shows, fishing competitions and much more.

But the Dubai International Boat Show 2023 was, of course, first and foremost the perfect opportunity for the world’s leading yacht brands to showcase their most luxurious vessels at the Dubai harbor, as well as for the rest of the industry: here, in fact, more than 1,000 of the biggest names and brands in the marine industry showcased their latest innovations.

3Beneteau, dubai BehneMar Yachting, De Antonio, Ferreti, Gulf Craft, Lagoon, Ocean Independence, Riva, Sanlorenzo, Silent Yachts, Sunreef and Sunseeker Gulf among many others unveiled brand-new and innovative vessels.

Amongst the incredible line-up, the largest in both length and price tag is the Independence’s 68m Soaring, valued at Dhs350 million. UAE yacht-maker Gulf Craft officially unveiled its highly-anticipated Majesty 111 and the surprise new addition, Nomad 101. Abeer Al Shaali, Deputy Managing Director at Gulf Craft, said “We saw a huge influx of crowds, which was really exciting. The two yachts we brought to the show have already been sold, and we have many serious leads looking at making purchases “.

Silent Yachts, the world’s first ocean-going production yachts powered by solar energy, was also reported an impressive event. “Everyone is wild about our product because it’s the first electric yacht in the world,Ahmed Almousawi, General Manager of Silent Yachts said.“Many people do not know that such a thing already exists, yet we have 16 of them in the water worldwide and 26 currently in build. Many people are proud to bring this product to the region, and we have several interested clients that are planning to visit our headquarters in Mallorca to take things forward We are proud to bring this product to the region, and we have several interested clients that are planning to visit our headquarters in Mallorca to take things forward”.

2Italian yacht manufacturing company Azimut returned to Dubai International Boat Show this year, exhibiting the Gulf Premiere Fly 68, the Fly 53, and larger vessels the S10 and Grande 27M.

The Dubai International Boat Show is an appointment we can’t miss. We have created an extremely robust and widespread network of professional and exceptionally high-level service points, ensuring we offer our yacht owners outstanding, dedicated service,” Enrico Chiaussa, Azimut Head of Sales for Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa said.

Another debut came via BehneMar Yachting, as the superyacht consultancy and official dealer for Cigarette boats in the Middle East introduced the region’s first Cigarette power performance boat, a move that Tim Trenker, Chief Executive Officer, BehneMar Yachting predicts will “rock the market in the weeks, months and years to come.” He said: “We are very pleased with Dubai International Boat Show. I see a lot of further growth potential, and I forecast that we’ll soon be using both sides of the marina – one just for superyachts and one for yachts under 34 or 40 metres ”.

The show’s new location was also welcomed by Bush & Noble, regional distributor for Sunseeker Gulf, which is exhibiting Sunseeker 74 and Sunseeker 65. Brett Noble, Co-Founder of Sunseeker Gulf, said:“The event so far has been fantastic. As Bush & Noble, we’ve been attending the Dubai International Boat Show for 10 years and we’ve seen the evolution over that period – particularly since the show moved to Dubai Harbour. This year, we’re getting a lot more feedback and buyers than we have in the past. In fact, we’ve had at least half a dozen serious leads in 24 hours ”.

4Other new vessels launched at the event by some of the world’s most notable superyacht brands included the Beneteau Grand Trawler 62, De Antonio D46, Ferretti Yachts 780, Lagoon Catamarans SEVENTY 8, Riva 88’ Folgore, and the Riviera 72.

In addition, Sanlorenzo Yachts premiered the 110 as well as the SL86, and Sunreef Yachts revealed its 60 Power Eco and its Eco 80.

In short, an event that everyone really enjoyed: the producers who saw their work fully valued, as well as the industry insiders who were able to enjoy the event for five totally immersive days. And of course the thousands of people who passed through the booths, experienced the adrenaline-pumping offerings of the event and all the spectacle associated with it.

An outstanding event that laid the foundation for doing even better at the next occasion, in 2024, where Dubai will surely delight us with many more surprises.

Big news for the Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design shipyard at the Dubai International Boat Show: the new BEACH range has been unveiled, consisting of three superyachts of 77, 88 and 99 meters, which will raise the bar even higher in the concepts of comfort and luxury.

At the international boat show dedicated to superyachts, which is being staged these days in Dubai, the introduction of this new fleet is capable of catering to any owner’s needs, according to taste and on-board requirements.

The interior design is based on the “beach” theme and is common to all three versions, being the basis from which each client can uniquely customize his yacht. The idea of naming the entire fleet this way then, not only concerns the interior furnishings and color palette, but also the desire to have full and constant contact with the sea, as Sander Sinot, designer of Sinot Yacht A&D, explains:

We named our new design concept Beach, reflecting the clear connection with outdoor living and the idea of being close to the water in perfect harmony with the aquatic environment”.

BEACH: exterior design

With clean-cut lines and a sculptural hull, minimalism is the key concept in Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design’s BEACH range. Almost all spaces are open, the balustrades are transparent, and the contact with the sea is all-encompassing, thanks in part to the full-height glass facades of the cabins and salons for which the shipyard has become particularly popular.

These superyachts offer a perfect combination of privacy, functionality and comfort. In short, the basic ingredients for experiencing the sea to the fullest.
The wide main deck culminates in the aft platform, equipped with an infinity pool set between a few steps down to the waterline.

This large area houses sunbeds, lounge chairs, and useful space for engaging in water sports, working out, enjoying a beauty treatment, or socializing and celebrating with family and friends. In fact, just on either side of this aft beach, tenders and boats of various kinds can be docked so that people from land or other yachts can come aboard to share their boating experience with guests.

“A common theme of the Beach series is the connection between the interior and exterior spaces aft – explains Sinot Yacht A&D designer Sander Sinot – From the main lounge to the aft beach deck and on to the full beam beach club with fold-down hatches both on starboard and portside, there is a seamless transition to enjoy the pleasures of the sea and relish quality time with family and friends.”

Contemporary interior

The interiors of BEACH 77, 88, and 99 feature very bright and spacious spaces with light, neutral tones that take interior design into a new style concept: contemporariness.

The layout of the cabins and other areas maximizes the space on board all boats in the BEACH series, making them elegant and airy. Natural light enters abundantly from the very large full-height windows that characterize most of the decks; this way, the blue of the sea and the sky merge, giving the owner and his guests the impression of no border between inside and outside.

Interior spaces are consistent with modern needs: convertible movie lounges, VIP cabins and numerous guest cabins that can be customized to individual needs between beauty services, treatments, gym or spa.

The interior style is relaxed and informal, perfect for accommodating any customization of art, furniture or color. The aft lounge area on the main deck is the actual meeting place where guests gather during the day, enjoying spectacular panoramic ocean views, thanks to full-height windows and a glass balustrade that does not interrupt the magical contact with the ocean.

A majestic master cabin

Special attention goes to the owner’s cabin: a full-beam forward room positioned on the main deck that offers maximum privacy and majestic views. All aspects and materials of the owner’s room from the design of the bed, to the table, to the bedside tables, to the carpets, are made with extreme attention to detail and with natural and sustainable materials.

The room is connected to his and her walk-in closets, and via walkways on either side of the headboard, also to the master bathroom with its minimalist and relaxed, yet luxurious style. The large bed, centrally located, is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows creating an incredible sense of continuity with the outdoors by conveying a sense of freedom and openness that ends with the bow of the outside deck, where there is a private relaxation area and a large Jacuzzi.

The three superyachts BEACH 77, BEACH 88 and BEACH 99 are ready to be built and feature distinct and elegant designs that give the boats a clean, modern style… that is impossible to look away from.

Making her magnificent world stage premiere at One Herald Plaza in the Magic City, this February the exquisite OA 32E was crowned the “Belle of the Ball” at her Friday evening coming out celebration at the 2023 Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show (DBMIBS).

Illuminated by the big city bright lights and legendary downtown skyline bordering Biscayne Bay, smooth grooves from the top-deck live musical performance welcomed yachting enthusiasts to admire the sophisticated new 31.2-meter addition to the Explorer series positioned to the right of its 28E sibling, priced at $16.3 million and powered by twin MAN V12 2,000-hp engines.

Her immensity in size and propensity to allure with its open-plan layout is outstanding, but even more important, is the vessel’s versatility. Conducive to a completely relaxing experience, or for taking things up a notch to the opposite end of the spectrum in full-on fiesta mode – either way, activity-filled days on the open seas can be custom tailored to whatever guests wish to do on their journey.

With touches of ingenuity and originality showcased all around, the immense spatial dimensions of OA 32E, pop out the moment you hop onto the flat open aft deck further aggrandized by deploying the folding terraces. This lower level is home base to the beach club cabana flanked by tinted-glass doors and my favorite part, the transparent window overhead facing the deck above.

For those muggy mid-summer days, powering on the air conditioning makes the beach club even more pleasurable, and while you’re at it, you might as well turn on the wall-mounted flat-screen television. Passengers onboard who prefer a splash in the sea, must only stroll out the sliding door to power up the Seabobs and drop in the toys from the portside hoist.

Climbing five steps up the side stairwells leads you to the ideal shaded spot to put your feet up and sit back with a good book or your tablet, on one of the three comfy sofas complemented by a superb panorama overlooking the landscape to the rear. Not far off, acres of glass greet as you make your way into the main saloon fashioned with a soft, light décor only further enhanced by the flooding of natural light. Here indoor meals feel like al-fresco ones, since no matter which seat you choose at the table for ten, you’re rewarded with a “perfect ten” 360-degree waterway view.

Shifting spaces but keeping on the topic of aquatics, opulence knows no bounds on the OA 32E penned by British designer Evan K. Marshall. Sitting center stage inside the en-suite bathroom of the main-deck master stateroom which fills the full 6.7 meter beam, a classy freestanding bathtub channeling the vibe of a five-star Caesars Palace powder room awaits.

And while the tub is only fit for one, the stern-side Jacuzzi on the top deck summons everyone up to enjoy some warm water joy. For those wishing to keep dry, generous-sized sunpads surround it gifting all friends and family onboard with unobstructed vistas that are simply “next-level” Ocean Alexander-style lovely. After the bubbly splash, snatch a tall stool at the indoor upper deck bar and wind down the day or night with a nice espresso. Better yet, make it an espresso martini!

Flawlessly executed in construction with a silhouette overtly indulgent to the eye thanks to her high-end quality components incorporated into the first-class build everywhere you turn from winches and cleats to the technology-laden helm station – the shock and awe of the latest and greatest Explorer certainly added another layer of emotion at her coming out party. With four more units in production and two nearing delivery, it will be exciting to witness who will be crowned Ocean Alexander’s next belle of the ball!
