A long history, studded with successes and innovations, belongs to Benetti, which celebrated its 150th anniversary on Friday 16 June in the shipyard’s Viareggio headquarters.

Giovanna Vitelli and Giovanna Vitelli organized a three-day celebrating event with the participation of local authorities, press and employees. The occasion allowed the institutions present to further strengthen the bond that unites Benetti with the territory. Owners and employees also played a central role during these days, taking part in the event as fundamental resources for the Shipyard’s growth and excellence.

Established in 1873, Benetti is the oldest Italian shipyard, specializing in luxury yachts and is still an icon of style and excellence. The Benetti family built commercial sailing yachts until the end of the war, when, thanks to Lorenzo Benetti‘s intuition, the construction of elegant steel trawlers began, radically changing the history of shipbuilding.

From then on, the production of legendary boats began, which today, as then, ply the seas with the classic sophistication that distinguishes them.

Benetti DelfinoClear examples of the Shipyard’s innovation and experimentation are: the 1962 Delfino, which was the first true 18-metre motor yacht ever built in the history of yachting; the 1966 22m Gabbiano, which introduced the concepts of cruising and on-board comfort; the 1967 Mediterraneo and then the majestic 1979 Nabila , which grabbed the world’s covers for being the largest gigayacht of the time. Nabila was a milestone in Benetti’s history. Nobody had ever seen, nor even imagined possible, building an 86-metre yacht with satellite telecommunications in those years, and this also led to a change of ownership of the shipyard.

Different families but with the same passion for the brand and fits employees, who have always been considered a fundamental resource without which it would never have been possible to achieve this level of excellence, then as now.

The transfer of ownership at that time took place with the utmost respect and shared values, aimed at growing Italian excellence in the construction of superyachts.

Benetti 150 years has taken Benetti even higher with the introduction of composite in the Classic 115 series, an innovation taken up by many, which has set the standard in the boating sector. The internal restructuring also led to greater solidity that has allowed not only to build imposing and luxurious mega-yachts since then, but also to dare in out-of-the-box designs and technologies.

The latest Oasis Deck™ project, for example, has revolutionized exteriors by bringing them flush with the water, anticipating what would later become the biggest market demand: sharing open spaces in close contact with nature. Benetti B Yond

In this regard, Benetti has been studying alternative solutions for more than twenty years, capable of reducing emissions and preserving the environment, and has succeeded with the B.Yond 37, which in 2022 was awarded for being “the greenest yacht in the world” thanks to its innovative hybrid propulsion.

After producing more than 420 yachts over the last 150 years, Benetti is now able to offer one of the widest ranges of excellence on the market, ranging from 34 to over 100 metres. A history dedicated to the pursuit of beauty, luxury and innovation, taking the Italian boating industry higher and higher in the world, from 1873 to today.

Wedgeline Hybrid 77 is the green revolution by Fabiani Yachts: a “more than you expect” futuristic boat

There is little time left until the completion of Fabiani Yachtsfirst green yacht: the Wedgeline Hybrid 77, a masterpiece of eco-engineering.

Not ready until next year, the new model is an example of a boat that adapts to nature, and this one in particular will interact with a key element: the sun.

Wedgeline Hybrid 77 shipyardBoasting a large number of patents, Wedgeline Hybrid 77 is defending her technologies and is constantly perfecting them, to overcome all the obstacles that arise when building a prototype of this type. An immense, futuristic project, difficult only to imagine, but which is taking shape more and more, it will be the yacht that will revolutionize zero-impact yachting.

Fitted with two diesel shaft line engines and two electric motors mounted right at the start of the diesel propulsion systems, this hybrid yacht will fully perform its function of 100% electric navigation. An inverter makes it possible to switch from one to the other mode, even while underway, and allows them to be used simultaneously while keeping the classic engine idling and then switching only to electric navigation. The enormous power requirement, which allows the Wedgeline Hybrid 77 to travel at a speed of 6/7 knots with a maximum of 8 knots in electric, is provided by the support that the solar panels give to the pack of lithium batteries of the latest generation that are much more powerful, high-performance and less heavy (Akasol) positioned in the bow in a special locker.

Wedgeline Hybrid 77 open wingsThe batteries are connected directly to the electric motors and panels, which emerge from the sides of the yacht, just below the deck level. These solar panels vary in size and number, also depending on the size of the yacht. When folded, the panels fit perfectly on top of each other and disappear, becoming invisible, inside the hull.

A truly unprecedented revolution, which means it is possible to cruise at zero cost and even access Protected Marine Areas without damaging the environment, with a quiet but pleasant cruising speed.

During the construction phases, the most concerns concerned the actual functioning of the panels, as this is an innovative technology… from idea to implementation everything can change. After several practical tests, however, the boatyard ascertained the actual effectiveness of the panels and the extreme fluidity they have in exiting and re-entering the prepared housings, and in the event of blockage, they can be closed manually with a lance. In the event of excessive rolling or wave motion, the panels have additional safety features: in these cases they sound an alarm, the owner must immediately close the panels and if he does not take this precaution, the panels will automatically close again. Before being closed, the panels need to be cleaned with distilled water to remove any salt water, spray or foam that may have collected on the surface, which is why a water softener has been fitted on board.

Just over 22 metres long, with a displacement of 82 tonnes when fully loaded, the Wedgeline Hybrid 77 has a range with the diesel engines of 220 miles at an average speed of 20 knots, but what is most surprising is the range in electric power:at a speed of 6 knots, 50 to 100 miles can be covered, without noise, without cost and respecting the environment

Comprising 3 or 4 guest cabins, it also has two berths for the crew, a large saloon with kitchen and a flybridge with sundeck or table, where you can relax even while underway, providing there is not too much wind. Two very large solar panels also come out of the flybridge footprint, towards the bow, which rise a few centimetres above the boat when fully extended.

Another special feature of this yacht is the stern platform, designed to be moved to where the owner needs it most, with no less than four possible positions. It dives almost a metre underwater for easy access to the water, stays in the sailing position or slides on two steel tubes that raise it up to the cockpit or even up to the flybridge. The stanchions move and drapes together to create a parapet all around the deck, so that it can be used as a sundeck or as a stern extension even while underway, either on the cockpit or the flybridge.

Wedgeline Hybrid 77 awardLast November Fabiani Yacht won the prestigious Le Fonti Awards, as ‘Excellence of the Year Innovation & Leadership in Luxury Boating‘ for its original and creative yet real and functional style in boating and for the design of zero-impact boats, which allow silent and non-polluting navigation.

The shipyard also recently opened a new office in the province of Livorno, at the Marina Cala De’ Medici, the second for Fabiani Yachts, and was present at the next Dusseldorf Boat Show, with a booth at Hall 07AC03.

President Maurizio Fabiani is proud of the enormous steps forward the shipyard is making towards increasingly hybrid, comfortable and classy yachting:

“Our yachts are hybrid and must absolutely be so, both diesel and electric motors act in unison. You will sail in absolute silence and be able to enter protected marine areas, with no impact on the environment. So far no one has ever come close to such technology.”

Dubai boat show 1The Dubai International Boat Show 2023 has come to an end. Now it is time to take stock, certainly positively, of what has become one of the most important international events in the yachting world

Thousands of enthusiasts from all over the world passed through the port of Dubai, looking forward to enjoying the more than 200 boats on display and the show that saw as many as 44 launches of new proposals and the latest in design and technology.

In addition to boats many other activities entertained visitors, including diving demonstrations, water sports shows, seminars and workshops, live music shows, fishing competitions and much more.

But the Dubai International Boat Show 2023 was, of course, first and foremost the perfect opportunity for the world’s leading yacht brands to showcase their most luxurious vessels at the Dubai harbor, as well as for the rest of the industry: here, in fact, more than 1,000 of the biggest names and brands in the marine industry showcased their latest innovations.

3Beneteau, dubai BehneMar Yachting, De Antonio, Ferreti, Gulf Craft, Lagoon, Ocean Independence, Riva, Sanlorenzo, Silent Yachts, Sunreef and Sunseeker Gulf among many others unveiled brand-new and innovative vessels.

Amongst the incredible line-up, the largest in both length and price tag is the Independence’s 68m Soaring, valued at Dhs350 million. UAE yacht-maker Gulf Craft officially unveiled its highly-anticipated Majesty 111 and the surprise new addition, Nomad 101. Abeer Al Shaali, Deputy Managing Director at Gulf Craft, said “We saw a huge influx of crowds, which was really exciting. The two yachts we brought to the show have already been sold, and we have many serious leads looking at making purchases “.

Silent Yachts, the world’s first ocean-going production yachts powered by solar energy, was also reported an impressive event. “Everyone is wild about our product because it’s the first electric yacht in the world,Ahmed Almousawi, General Manager of Silent Yachts said.“Many people do not know that such a thing already exists, yet we have 16 of them in the water worldwide and 26 currently in build. Many people are proud to bring this product to the region, and we have several interested clients that are planning to visit our headquarters in Mallorca to take things forward We are proud to bring this product to the region, and we have several interested clients that are planning to visit our headquarters in Mallorca to take things forward”.

2Italian yacht manufacturing company Azimut returned to Dubai International Boat Show this year, exhibiting the Gulf Premiere Fly 68, the Fly 53, and larger vessels the S10 and Grande 27M.

The Dubai International Boat Show is an appointment we can’t miss. We have created an extremely robust and widespread network of professional and exceptionally high-level service points, ensuring we offer our yacht owners outstanding, dedicated service,” Enrico Chiaussa, Azimut Head of Sales for Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa said.

Another debut came via BehneMar Yachting, as the superyacht consultancy and official dealer for Cigarette boats in the Middle East introduced the region’s first Cigarette power performance boat, a move that Tim Trenker, Chief Executive Officer, BehneMar Yachting predicts will “rock the market in the weeks, months and years to come.” He said: “We are very pleased with Dubai International Boat Show. I see a lot of further growth potential, and I forecast that we’ll soon be using both sides of the marina – one just for superyachts and one for yachts under 34 or 40 metres ”.

The show’s new location was also welcomed by Bush & Noble, regional distributor for Sunseeker Gulf, which is exhibiting Sunseeker 74 and Sunseeker 65. Brett Noble, Co-Founder of Sunseeker Gulf, said:“The event so far has been fantastic. As Bush & Noble, we’ve been attending the Dubai International Boat Show for 10 years and we’ve seen the evolution over that period – particularly since the show moved to Dubai Harbour. This year, we’re getting a lot more feedback and buyers than we have in the past. In fact, we’ve had at least half a dozen serious leads in 24 hours ”.

4Other new vessels launched at the event by some of the world’s most notable superyacht brands included the Beneteau Grand Trawler 62, De Antonio D46, Ferretti Yachts 780, Lagoon Catamarans SEVENTY 8, Riva 88’ Folgore, and the Riviera 72.

In addition, Sanlorenzo Yachts premiered the 110 as well as the SL86, and Sunreef Yachts revealed its 60 Power Eco and its Eco 80.

In short, an event that everyone really enjoyed: the producers who saw their work fully valued, as well as the industry insiders who were able to enjoy the event for five totally immersive days. And of course the thousands of people who passed through the booths, experienced the adrenaline-pumping offerings of the event and all the spectacle associated with it.

An outstanding event that laid the foundation for doing even better at the next occasion, in 2024, where Dubai will surely delight us with many more surprises.

It is difficult to summarize in a few lines the personality, experience and skills of Mario Gornati (1972), the man who for the past year has been Chief Marketing Officer of the Azimut Benetti Group, the world’s leading superyacht manufacturer according to the Global Order Book 2023.

Graduated in Languages and Communication from the IULM University in Milan, he began his career in a major communication agency; as he himself points out “My professional journey started over 20 years ago as Account Manager at the PR and Communication agency Ad Mirabilia in Milan.

After his experience in this agency, Mario Gornati immediately encountered the boating world and started a long and fruitful work experience at Sanlorenzo Yacht where he not only increased his training and skills but also achieved important results, as he told our microphones during an interview at the last Cannes Yachting Festival:

“Over the past 15 years and in my previous company, I had the privilege of contributing to a very important project. I joined the company when it was generating a turnover of 40 million and left after a successful stock market listing, with a turnover of almost 550 million. I contributed to the market, the development of the brand and its positioning around the world. It was a wonderful experience, which also allowed me to develop the qualities to get on the radar of companies in the sector and to work for the market leader group (Azimut Benetti – Ed.).”

Magellano 30METRI

But this is just a new starting point for Mr. Gornati, who now looks forward to other goals and faces new and exciting challenges for the Azimut Benetti Group, of which he is thrilled to be a part:

“When Dr. Giovanna Vitelli offered me the position of Chief Marketing Officer of the most important superyachts builder in the world, I was very happy because I had the confirmation that my commitment, sacrifices and abnegation of these years had paid off. Today with Azimut Benetti Group I have finally landed in the Champions League and I am very satisfied to be able to make my contribution.”

“We have just completed the Azimut brand repositioning project, and now we are doing it with the Benetti brand as well. The shipyard is seen as ‘the house of yachting’, a true reference point for the boating industry, which allows us to confirm our leadership by adding sensitivity to the typically Italian beauty of our boats.”

Azimut has a great history of heritage and knowledge but Mario Gornati is constantly looking to the future, foreseeing what will be the changes in the sector, and also the role that the digital economy will play in this scenario:

“Digital is essential because it answers the needs of boat owners and enthusiasts. It was already evolving, but after Covid, technology quickly became the future. The metaverse and nft will perhaps be the successors of social and we must not be closed-minded at times of transition. These new media also correspond to new targets, to which we absolutely must communicate. We must not underestimate these innovations, the metaverse enable people to communicate in a new way, it is not only the medium that is of interest but also the future target that it represents.”

Mario Gornati Benetti Oasis 40M

Speaking of the future, Azimut Benetti has played a truly key role in terms of innovations, bringing boating to be more and more sustainable as early as 2006 with the Azipod hybrid engine:

“For more than 12 years we have included three pillars in our strategy and, every time Azimut studies a boat, it is based on these three cornerstones. The first pillar is the use and study of hulls: we carry out very complex studies to make them better performing and therefore more environmentally sustainable. Here we have set ourselves a rule: the hull of a new model must reduce emissions by at least 20% compared to the previous model.

The second pillar is that of the extensive use of carbon, a material we produce in-house and which costs money, but which guarantees more lightness, hence, a further consumption saving. The third pillar is that of propulsion, where we study and then implement the most suitable solution that we will then use on the market. This path has also allowed us to always be the first to come out with products that are really tested and found to be sustainable.

These are the three factors behind the sustainable approach, a clear snapshot of Azimut’s long-standing and concrete commitment to environmental sustainability.”

“When we launch a new superyacht, we respect these three cornerstones, thus coming out with a model from the so-called Low Emission Yachts class. To date, Azimut production already boasts 12 models that fall into this class; in the next two or three years, the entire range will be certified in this class of sustainability.”

Important goals, looking towards the future, without ever forgetting the 150 years of history that Azimut Benetti possesses. This is how Mario Gornati is carrying forward the vision of a group that has always been the icon of the best Made in Italy in the world.

Italian shipyard Cantiere delle Marche has new owners, with production remaining and going strong.

Italian shipyard Cantiere Delle Marche has announced its acquisition completed through a management buyout supported at 75 percent by Austrian FIL Bros Family Office with the remaining 25 percent going to the company’s co-founders: Ennio Cecchini and Vasco Buonpensiere. At the same time, Ennio Cecchini former CEO of CDM becomes the new President and Vasco Buonpensiere, current Sales & Marketing Director, is appointed CEO.

This choice was made to enhance and strengthen the company, keeping the founders at the helm, who will be able to guide the activity towards new goals and targets.

Cantiere Delle Marche yachts

CDM was founded in 2010 while the crisis hit hard the industry but thanks to the vision of its founders Cecchini e Buonpensiere and their profound knowledge of ship and yacht building, good results were not long in coming. Since 2015, in fact, CdM has been the undisputed world leader in the explorer yachts segment with just shy of 60% of this market, thus establishing itself as a international reference for the ingrained quality of its yachts, their design and technical aspects.

Not surprisingly, twelve years after its founding, CDM is the 12th shipyard in the Global Order Book 2022 by length of yachts under construction.

The shipyard’s will be managed with a long-term vision in mind and with the desire to develop it through grounded and pragmatic actions while keeping all those precious characteristics that made Cantiere delle Marche become an internationally reputed player in just 10 years.

The company that bought CDM says it is ready to achieve new goals and Tom Schröder, owner of the FIL Bros Family Office, says he decided to make this purchase by pursuing his boundless passion for yachting, finding in the founders of the shipyard, the same passion and desire to achieve something different in the boating world. A big step that he has no intention of leaving behind anyone, as he himself says:

Together with Vasco and Ennio, since both of them play a key role in the shareholding structure, and all employees that will be further involved and motivated in the company growth, we will consolidate CDM position in the international arena as one of the best yacht builders in the world – consistently with what has been done in the last 12 years. Our goal is to deliver 3 or 4 explorer yachts per year to Owners who wish to sail the seven seas and reach in safety and utmost comfort even the highest latitudes, yacht that will distinguish themselves for their extraordinary quality”.

Common goals for FIL Bros Family Office, a company that has invested in Cantiere Delle Marche, which will lead them to cut new ground, increasing production and sales year after year. CDM has production already sold through 2026, and in the next three years they expect to double that to 2021.

With no less than 13 explorer yachts on order, CDM and the new shareholding company are wasting no time: the air of renewal is there, the will to go beyond their limits is there, and all that remains is to set to work to provide owners with the most beautiful explorer yachts possible.

Majesty 160: new composite-built superyacht unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show

One new Gulf Craft project was announced during the Monaco Yacht Show: the brand-new Majesty 160.

This innovative, elegant and sustainable superyacht is distinguished by a composite hull, which is not surprising as the company is the world’s leader in composite hull production.

Sustainability is a choice on the part of Gulf Craft that leaves a recognisable mark on the launch of each new vessel. An evolution of the Majesty 155, the Majesty 160 takes its design cues from the iconic Majesty 175 which, moreover, is the world’s largest composite-built production superyacht.

This new model is also designed by Italian studio Cristiano Gatto Design and is capable of impressing in every respect.

But let’s discover the new Majesty 160 together:

The exterior is elegant, featuring an expansive sun deck, modular furnishings and an incredible infinity pool with a breathtaking panoramic view. All elements are customisable and perfect for improved conviviality aboard.

Key features also include a beach club – a customisable multi-purpose space that can be used as a lounge or bar area, a gym, or a health club. The swim platform provides guests unprecedented ease of access to the water while the fold-down balconies located on both the portside and starboard side of the platform allow for sunbathing throughout the day.

The interiors reflect the same sophistication as the outdoor areas: sober, delicate and cosy, carefully thought out in every detail, with no constraints between them.

Luxury is tangible everywhere but the most notable feature is the phenomenal and contemporary-styled Master Suite. Ideally located at the end of the foreward main deck corridor, the suite includes a private lounge, a large ensuite with both bath and shower room, retractable balcony and a full-beam Master cabin.

In addition to her elegant exteriors and luxury interiors, the Majesty 160 has an innovative climate control system, two pairs of zero-speed carbon fin stabilisers, two wing stations on the main deck that enables smooth manoeuvring and an optional helm station on the sun deck.

The composite-built hull of the new Gulf Craft’s superyacht provides absolute sturdiness, resistance and light weight.

Drawing just 2.3 metres of water, this superyacht can effortlessly cruise low-draft areas.

Majesty 160 is capable of achieving a top speed of 19.5 knots and a cruising speed of around 12.

Last but not least, a sustainability-focused innovation: the boat is equipped with some solar panels at the top of the sun deck roof capable of powering one of the four generators, thus limiting overall energy consumption.

62Steel and Alloy, comfort comes first

Sanlorenzo enjoyed huge success at the last Monaco Yacht Show.

The Ligurian shipyard also celebrated the sale of its new flagship, the 73m of the 73Steel line, finalised by the broker house Fraser, and scheduled for delivery to the client, already a Sanlorenzo owner, in 2026.

The two 62Steel and Alloy superyachts took centre stage among the Monegasque docks, thanks to their craftsmanship and attention to detail, innovative stylistic and technological research, which allow for a richly comfortable on-board life.

62Steel, a true superyacht experience

Five decks on 62 metres for a gross tonnage of 1,350 tonnes. The Sanlorenzo 62Steel is an impressive superyacht that the Ameglia-based shipyard unveiled in Monaco last year.

What caught the visitors’ attention was undoubtedly the owner’s suite, located on the upper deck, with a breathtaking panoramic view and an exclusive outdoor bow area: in practice an entire deck of over 140 square metres.

But if the owner can have all the privacy he or she desires, the 62Steel is also convivial, with the main deck area divided between saloon and dining room and opening out onto the large swimming pool with its transparent bottom that becomes a sunbathing area when necessary.

There are four units sold of this metal giant, one to be delivered in early 2023, while the design of one unit reaches 64 metres in length and will therefore be renamed 64Steel.

Alloy, a new concept of livability

Along with the 62-metre superyacht, the Sanlorenzo Alloy, winner of the World Superyacht Awards 2022, was also at the Monaco Show.

A fast-displacement model measuring 44.5 metres in length, it is built entirely in aluminium, as its name suggests.

It is distinguished by a distribution of spaces designed to improve liveability, both inside and out: for example, the master cabin is conceived as a private 147 square metre flat and organized on three interconnected levels, with an indoor and an outdoor area.

The collaboration between the Sanlorenzo team and Bernardo Zuccon, who took care of the exterior design, made it possible to conceive, design and build a three-deck yacht that maintains essential, sleek lines while offering megayacht solutions thanks to its large volumes.

73Steel, the ultimate comfort and technology

The Monaco Yachts Show was the perfect stage to announce the signing of the construction contract for the 73Steel, the fleet’s new flagship. She is scheduled to be delivered to her customer, loyal owner Sanlorenzo, in 2026.

With this latest contract, Sanlorenzo confirms its leadership in the metal sector: the 73Steel is the largest superyacht ever built by the shipyard and is the ninth metal unit to be sold during 2022, while there are 23 superyachts between 44 and 73 metres under construction.

There is no final design for the vessel yet, but Salorenzo anticipates a diesel-electric hybrid propulsion to minimize emissions, a refined design entrusted to the Zuccon International Project studio, linking interiors and exteriors, with a high technological level and perfectly balancing form and function.

sanlorenzo 73steel

“The design of the new 73Steel represents a fascinating new chapter in the yard’s history, not only because of its size, which is currently the largest ever built, but also because it is a testament to how strongly the company believes in the evolution and importance of a complex market such as the superyacht market “ states Bernardo Zuccon, Studio Zuccon International Project.

“As designers, we cannot but be proud once again to participate in this new adventure, basing our project research on the development of a design that, despite the large volumes available, is able to convey a principle of extreme dynamism, sportiness and contemporaneity. It is exactly this subtle dialogue between the search for a strong stylistic identity and a constant inspiration to stylistic features now consolidated within the brand’s DNA, that is the perfect interpretative key to this project.

Each line has been sculpted to emphasize the tension and plasticity of the forms, which seem to be in constant motion, without pause, modifying and adapting themselves with the aim of creating the perfect dialogue between interior and exterior spaces; a dynamic and incessant rhythm that aims at a formal evolvement able to reconstruct every time and in every detail that powerful identifiable language that has always characterized Sanlorenzo products”.

X30 Villa: Extra Yachts revolutionizes the large-sized catamaran segment https://www.superyachts.news/x30-villa-extra-yachts/ https://www.superyachts.news/x30-villa-extra-yachts/#respond Fri, 26 Aug 2022 10:50:49 +0000 https://www.superyachts.news/x30-villa-extra-yachts/ With the new X30 Villa, Extra Yachts not only launches a new line of motor catamarans but definitively revolutionizes the market for large-sized multihulls, finally managing to effectively unite this market with that of superyachts. With the new X30 Villa, Extra Yachts not only launches a new line of motor catamarans but definitively revolutionizes the market for large-sized multihulls, finally managing to effectively unite this market with that of superyachts.

This is an exercise that clearly has countless advantages but which, until the arrival of the X30 Villa, had limited itself to producing a series of yachts that, if other yards don’t mind me saying so, were limited to “imitating” the design of large sailing catamarans (obviously eliminating the mast), without however managing to find its own way, i.e. a design style dedicated and functional to motor yachts.

With this new model Extra Yachts, the Isa brand dedicated to building boats that can guarantee a more immersive contact with the marine environment, succeeds in fact in combining the liveability of a multi-level villa with the efficiency of a catamaran.

The exterior design is unmistakable and retains the shipyard’s DNA, based on the extensive use of panoramic glass, the presence of large social areas and an open stern that facilitates access to the sea.

The X30 Villa features a huge aft cockpit, which can be configured in any way through the use of freestanding furniture. This area is protected by a glass balustrade that does not obstruct the view. The submersible bridge, when aligned with the side platforms, also creates a very large beach club that, while allowing direct contact with the sea, also supports a tender of over 5 metres as well as other water toys.

A special feature of the layout is that the VIP cabins have direct access to the transom to enjoy the sea without having to cross the interior.

The main deck of the X30 Villa features very high ceilings and large panoramic windows to maximise external views while letting natural light flood the interior. The layout is divided into convivial areas on different levels, allowing for a break in continuity. One of the options is an open floor plan that includes a main salon, a library corner, a bar and an open kitchen, which casually flow into each other, dominated by the raised helm station and the observatory.

The interior is characterised by special architectural solutions such as the geometry of the ceiling that extends outwards at the top aft to create the illusion of a much larger convivial area with the saloon doors open. Freestanding furniture and accessories on the aft cockpit have been chosen to further amplify the interior atmosphere of this outdoor area.

Urban details combine with earthy materials in a softer visual language. The winding walls flow seamlessly into uprights and are finished with textured plaster. Polished concrete panels are complemented by stone window tops creating contrasts with matt metal and walnut furniture. Raised skylights flood the desaturated oak parquet flooring with areas of carpet and simulated concrete for a warm yet industrial look.

The master cabin is a true masterpiece of innovation. Conceived as a private destination in which to spend time in an idyllic setting, it features a relaxation area with sofas and a sleeping area positioned amidships, while the head with a private spa is located on a lower level, divided between the port and starboard hulls.

Nestled forward between the two hulls, the owner’s stateroom’s sea-view terrace can be lowered to offer exceptional views while maintaining maximum privacy. Glass doors can close the terrace to offer protection from wind, noise and weather.
